ok so i've got a theory about people who write bad reviews about effects (and other things) - the kind that writes 'this sucks don't buy it' as opposed to the ones who give an objective review, even if the effect didn't work for them. here's the difference - ask these questions of the 'this sucks' reviewer - 'how long have you had it?' "uh ... just bought it - tried a few presets in the bus on the way home and wrote this review". 'How long have you been playing guitar?' "uh .. about 2 weeks..." So you see, the ones that write shit really don't have the faintest idea about how the effect should really sound! and guaranteed they've not ventured as far as trying to build their own sounds, or even modify presets.
